Fast empoleon

I cant say i ever made a deck like this one. I decided to make a deck that ran fast, had high attack, and had built in snipe attacks.

I have always loved water pokemon and When pokemon ex came out, i thaught the game was broken. The cards attacks didnt take much energy to use, did ALOT of damage, and most the time thats all i would see being played, (THANK YOU SAFE GUARD FOR CALMING IT DOWN A LITTLE) But anyway, the new set came out and i noticed... Hey, this card does alot of damage but its stingy on its cost. Ex) Machamp does 60 for 3 fighting energy, if heads 90. Now say it was an ex, that prob would have needed 3 energy but only 1 fighting. After seeing things like this i thaught the game went back to it roots... Sorta.

ANYWAY, heres my deck list for you All my pkmn are from D/P

Heres the deal of the deck.

Empoleon Well as you must see, its really the only source of attacking. Its ice blade does 40 damage to anyone, so i can hit the defending pkmn, or one charging up on the bench. Also Aqua jet does a massive 70 damage and 20 to a bench, so i can spread damage in my favor.

Empoleon X This card has helped me out so many times! Well say the have a monferno on the bench, my normal empoleon cant knock it out in one shot and i really dont wanna be up against an infernape so Out comes lv x, it can do 80 to anyone. Bye monferno. I also get the +10 HP and the power to set aside 2 cards from there hand and they cant be used during my opponents next turn. Not only that but it can use the other attacks from its other stages as well. So he helps alot

Mantyke To be honest, its only in here to help grab piplups. They cost nothing to use so its not to shabby.

Budew Like mantyke, it doesnt cost a thing to use, and lets me grab an energy. This helps grab what i want, when i need it. Like say, rare candy.

Azurill Another free costing pokemon. This can help if my lv x gets ko'ed or i need that piplup or trainer etc. I added it to test it out, not sure if im going to pull it or not?

Rare candy This is needed to get to empoleon fast. He is my only sorce of attack, or like i say "INCOME"

Master ball I have been asked "why so many" Because it works! 8/10 times i get my empoleon out with it.

Super scoop up/ Mr Brimey Well, my favorite thing to do is, Say my lv x is really hurt i can get it back to my hand be4 saying goodbye. Then throw out another empoleon and lv it up, and my beast is back, Its mean, yet good for me.

Stadiums Well, glacia's kills off my weakness to lightning which helps and battle fron, helps counter things like metanite

Now i never made a deck which relys on one pkmn for damage. I really doughted this deck but, after it beat metanite, and kingdra ex, i thaught. Wow, it sets up fast! And the whole scope up and continue thing was just evil

Right now its 12/2, one time was because of a mawhile i was using be4 was my start up and i got no energy to use call for friends!!!

But i was just wondering if any of you can see a way to make it faster... I was gonna drop 1 stadium and wanted to add 1 more budew. And id like to maybe throw in one more brimey but dont know yet? Any ideas?

Mr. Briney's Compassion is better than Super Scoop Up because Mr. Briney's Compassion doesn't need a coin flip to work and you have no exs so:

-3 Super Scoop Up
+3 Mr. Briney's Compassion

stay clear of DRE... its bad enough reducing damage by 10, but when you use Aqua Jet, its like reducing 20 because DRE reduces both active and bench damage by 10. 3 energy shouldnt be hard to get on a pokemon, especially is you start out with something liek budew.
with this deck, the only way i see it doing good is through disruption. therefore, i suggest using things like Battle Fronteir and Holon Legacy as your stadiums. along with this, i suggest using Delcatty EX or Vaporeon EX, to limit their hand before using Supreme Command.

Ascension Well im gonna add another briney but i really dont wanna kill all scoop ups for briney because its a supporter and you can use only 1 per turn. But thanks

ignatious Yea, i tried the dre and didn't like it at all >.< I was trying things like mightyena and mawile for pull away. I liked it but took it out, but i never thought of VAP EX, thx, ima try that one. Cool beans man

wow this deck really is the real deal - and to be honest theres no need to add anything but pluspower. I like it - maybe another help instead of manyke would be a couple of manaphy and for great teck play i would suggest chatot as its great to annoy the oppopnent - the outcome of thier pokemon depends on the flip of a coin and if its not confusing its drawing how great. I had so much trouble with making a deck around my first type back in the ol days and thanks to you - its brilliant. I owe you one - also do you mind if i alter this a bit and use it for my next seasons tournaments. Also if you after a good deck check some of my threads about blazing apes. I owe you one

I agree with your comment about "Back to the roots." I said that also as soon as I saw DP - no more EX and no more delta - I like it.

I wouldn't add Vaporeon EX. Have you thought about Corsola UF instead of Mantyke? I know it costs an energy, but it can get you Empoleon right away.

four Eevee energy evolution
two Vaporeon.
one Espeon ex.
You get to throw down an extra energy during its attack on to a soon to be empoleon. Briney it before it gets koed and send up someone that has lots of energy for your effort. Lay the eevee back down and next turn drop the Vapreon ex on it if you want.
