Great Ball SF & Unlimited

Since Great Ball in SF doesn't have the (excluding Pokemon-EX) phrase, can we now use any Great Ball card (including old ones with the text) to search for basic EX Pokemon in unlimited tournaments?

If so, I could see a TO/Head Judge requiring players to have a SF Great Ball card as an outside reference if you are playing the older version of the card.

Well, the text difference on the older version is moot in current modified, so unless POP mandates the need for a reference, I don't see it being needed.
For unlimited, until we hear otherwise, "text of most recent printing" is the rule.
