Mewtwo lx: any good still?

With a lot of sp pokemon coming out, this seems like a good choice. But does dialga lx make him useless?

I did, thanks. Mewtwo lx prevents all effects of attacks done to it by non evolved pokemon, and dialga's body prevents all non sp pokebodies. Unless I'm missing something ...

Nope, you're not missing anything. You might be thinking Psybarrier stops Time Crystal, but since it's not an attack, a body, for that matter, then Mewtwo Lv.X's body gets shut off.

That was my question: since mewtwo's body is shut off by dialga g lx, is mewtwo useless against sp pokemon(because dialga is usually a tech on the bench)

Is it completely useless? No. If you can get Mewtwo Level X down early, you can potentially have an easy 2-3 turns in which direct attacks aren't going to hurt you. Add the fact that the best G attacker is weak to Psychic, and you have the potential to earn a rushing win.

That said, Skuntank can still poison you, Crobat can still ping you, Honchkrow can snipe your bench, and eventually a good G deck will get that Dialga out. Also, Energy Gain limits the benefit of Mewtwo(LA)'s Psychic attack, and your weakness to Psychic means that, once the Dialga is down, any remaining Toxicroak will quickly finish you off.

On the whole, a well-built Mewtwo deck (like any other well-built deck that can do 90 damage to Toxicroak) have the potential to give a G deck a run for its money. But, don't expect the battle to be easy, because you'll probably find that you're the one with a quick loss, if you do.

Depends. Some decks may play Dialga G Lv X, some may not. Mewtwo Lv X is also good against AMU, if you remember, and Regigigas.

The thing is, Mewtwo is amazing against all of those decks. More G than anything else. I mean about 50% of the good lists I've seen nobody played diaga because everyone thinks that nobodys going to play mewtwo because of diaga so it's just wasted space and consitency. Also Dialga is hard to get out. I mean you do 1 shot all of the toxicroaks so you could get a good amount of prizes before they can get diaga out. Also if you already play psychic it's such a good tech because it does hit for 120 which can win games for you.

Think about this is someone tech againts something that means the card owns you if you don't get your tech out . so mewtwo owns sp, gigas, amu and more.
