Spritomb's attack and Unown G

My opponent has 3 Pokemon in play, all with Unown G attached.

I Have Spritomb active with some benched Pokemon. Some of those Pokemon are damaged.

I use Spritombs attack: I remove a damage counter from one of my Pokemon, and move it to one of my opponent's Pokemon, but fail to place it since they all have Unown G attached.

This is possible, correct?

No. If you don't have a place to move it to, you can't remove it.
