I will be spending a few weeks of next summer in japan =) and it will most likely be around the time of nats so i was wondering if i can use my american cards in their nats. also can i compete in their nats with a american pop id there or do i need a new one for competing there. if you can tell me that would be great =).

Nope, you would have to follow their rules, and they play Japanese cards only in their majors.

Your best person to talk to would be Tego, since he did intern in Japan, and he knows the ins and outs of their tournament structure.

Also, I think you would HAVE to be a Japanese citizen in order to play in their Nats
