The cool looking ones are never competitive. See: Absol, Umbreon, Glaceon, etc.

And so finally, today, Feb. 10 2010, mark your calendars Pokemon fans, today is the day where we now know Generation 5 will come.

Yeah, the originally concealed Pokemon is now known as Zoroark. I find him in the middle in terms of how he looks artwork wise. Well, you see, the Sugimori artwork looks very cool, but the so far anime artwork doesn't. Still though, I think he does look pretty cool. His role in the film as chasing Celebi along with Zorua (see the paragraph below this one for more info on the other new Pokemon) does sound interesting, especially being in a huge rage. The fact he also looks werewolf like also seems fitting for something being a master of illusions (in which he can transform as we kind of know already is somewhat considered to be an illusion). Indeed, i hope he'll be competitive, especially being named a monster fox Pokemon.

So we know now that Zoroark has a pre-evolution named Zoruo. I somewhat like Zoruo over Zoroark. Zoruo in my opinion looks like a combination of cuteness and coolness. I think a more appropriate species name for him should be "Sneaky Fox Pokemon" not neccesarily "Evil Fox Pokemon." It will also be pretty interesting in the film to Zoruo along with Zoroark chasing Celebi. Yeah, go Zoruo!

Now I hope that there'll be more Generation 5 Pokemon in Pokemon Movie 13, Ruler of Illusions: Zoroark!

To me it still looks like it would be Lucario's other half. The evil fox still looks like it would have some connection with Lucario. Never know it might be like Sirviper and Zangosse and be rivels from birth.

It's a fox, without a tail, and it's eyes change. Give me a wolf and trash this thing, though the pre-evo looks like an eevee so I can't complain.

That's ridiculous (that they would take/use your image without giving you credit). Are you going to have to start watermarking your images?

Wow, maybe it can evolve and devolve at will (hence the whole illusion thing). I think that would be interesting, where both have about equal stats, just better in different categories. This could be an interesting feature in the next generation game. You could have a pokemon evolve and devolve during battles, and each stage could have a different move set.
