Not bad. You need a little help with your wording. Also, you need evolution stages in your top stats: (Evolves from...) One thing to take into consideration, all Pokemon that have Dark in it's name have had low HP and high damage output. You may want to work on that.

An example of your wording issues:

Your Dark Stare:
If your opponent plays a basic pokemon from their hand onto their bench, place two damage counters on that pokemon. You may only use one Dark stare power each time your opponent plays a basic pokemon from their hand onto their bench.

Changes:

Poke-Body - Dark Stare:
As long as Dark Honchkrow is in play, whenever your opponent plays a Basic Pokemon from his or her hand, place 2 damage counters on that Pokemon. You cannot use more than 1 Dark Stare Poke-Body each turn.

well... this is kind of weird... I've been working on a new set myself that focuses on the 4 organizations... I guess it's different enough, mine uses Pokémon SP rather than evolution lines

I also second Wally's advice, Dark Pokémon have less HP than standard, not more.

I changed it, but wanted it to be for every pokemon your opponent played, not just one a turn. I have lowered the HP and increased damage in a few cases (where it was a little low). The Dark pokemon in EX Rocket returns did have normal HP for the time though, but i suppose that sort of defeats the object of dark pokemon.

Thanks, great minds think alike! I have changed the HP.

2 Energy for up to 300 dmg...that too much *50 spread*

No you can't, as it is 20 instead of the normal 10 for poison, and it doesn't say for each Dark Arbok.

2 Energy for up to 300 dmg...that too much *50 spread*

I think the HP and Attack cost balance it. (Compare it to Gengar Lv.X, it is more expensive, but does more damage and you have to discard.

Made the backfire compulsory

Dark Crawdaunt Aqua is pretty insanely broken. Bright Look a useless attacking pokemon like Claydol. PokeTurn. Throw forward Spiritomb, have a Crawdaunt benched. You've won.

I would run that deck...

Wording needs a little looking at as well, but people have already mentioned that.

Not bad for first attempt!

I have made Dark Arcanine a bit less broken. How would you advis changing Dark Crawdaunt? Would this work:

Quote:
Gripping Claws

Your opponent's active pokemon cannot retreat if your opponent has 4 or fewer cards in their hand.
Feel free to help on the wording.

Dark Crawdaunt + Dark Toxicroak + Skuntank G + the weezings able to be fit in.. 4-7/8 from poison, and can't retreat, perhaps an Unown K to time the poison, so the defending pokemon is ko'd as it gets ur turn, i'd use it.

You might also consider having Arbok in the background of Weezing, since you included Weezing in Arbok

Dark Metagross' power is too broken. I'd make it something like "return all cards in your hand to your deck, then search your deck for any one card and put it in your hand. Shuffle your deck afterward" (Like Night Teleporter)

Also, with all of your dual typing/dual modifier/stuff maybe make some special energies? Like the old Dark Metal energies. Probably take out a Legend, three is probably max for collecting purposes.

1) Compare Metagross to Pidgeot FRLG. Not Broken.
2) I like the Special energy idea.
3) 3 LEGENDS would not be fair as there are 4 evil teams. (I don't want another Dual Palkia and Dialga either)

I love the set's concept and some of the cards are fun. I also like the interesting energy costs. Dark Metagross looks pretty awesome.

Check out my set plees :3?
