6/10 only good for durant

I think its funny how the card specififcally says that if its durant then deal 120 damage.
It should of read if the defending pokemon is durant than you just won the game.

Well in an attempt to get better at posting regularly again, today's CotD is Heatmor from DE...ironically despite being the hyped Durant killer, Darkrai EX was far more a reason for its demise than this. Sure, Hot Lick is a Durant killer for

to OHKO any, but Darkrai EX aside, here's the whole fallacy: Heatmor relies more on its existence as a deterrent rather than anyone actually teching one. Ask yourself and look around at BRs, how many did you see even being teched? Exactly...maybe a skeptical few, but not many. In truth, Zekrom/Eels was always competitive with it, and Darkrai EX does circles around it in speed and OHKOs, while 3HKOing any benched one thanks to its bit of sniping power. Firebreathing is pointless btw, why would you ever stack enough Energy on him to use this weak attack? So yeah, sans Darkrai EX, I bet you could walk away with a BR win easily running Durant in all likelihood.

Modified - 2/10 - The card itself sucks, but the threat of it helped to kill off Durant decks, though in truth it did very little killing of Durants in actual play. Only reason it's better than 1/10

Limited - 6/10 - It's ok if you're running

, a decently big Basic with ok 2nd attack

Unlimited - 1/10 - No Durants here, no use at all

Heatmor will only be played in Vileplume decks. Even so Durant is more or less dead already...
