I think the thunderwave one is better because it could by you an extra turn whereas this on only does 10 more damage.
9/10 because the other one is better. |

File Request: Tynamo
Searching Folder: Dark Explorers File Found! Processing... Subject Profile Name: Tynamo Stage: Basic (Evolves into Eelektrik) Color: ![]() HP: 40 Weakness: (x2)Resistance: Data not found. Retreat Cost: 1 Subject Abilities and Attacks: Spark ( ): 10 damage. Does 10 damage to one of your opponent's Benched Pokemon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokemon)Uh, hello not fully evolved Eelektrik. That's all it really has going for it. It isn't really better or worse than other Tynamos, but I can't really afford to give it more than a Verdict: 4.3/10 |

Running 2 of these and 2 of the Thunder Wave is the only good way to play Eels. The Thunder Wave can stall and with Raikou this one can get rid of Vileplume without having to tech in Eelektross. I run 4 of these in my Zebstrika Eel list because they can help Snipe Eels, and that 10 damage can set up a OHKO on an opponent's Zekrom or a OHKO on Tornadus EX from Thundurus on the next turn.
Overall value of card judged against every other: 1.5/10 Value of card as a pre-evolution of Eelektrik: 10/10 Ranking as far as Tynamos go: #1 |
