Searching Your Deck

I remember there was a rule that if you use something like a supporter, (or anything that searches your deck, unless its an attack), and tells you to shuffle it afterwards. If you are going to be using another card that will search your deck then you don't shuffle your deck until your done using all your supporters and items for the turn. Does that rule still apply?

That's not a rule, it's a shortcut that players commonly employ.
The main requirement of doing this is "communicate, communicate, communicate" so that your opponent knows what you are doing and why you didn't shuffle.
