briefly used Black/White video game

I may buy an extra Black or White version, play through it, get Keldeo and any other promotions, then trade everything off of it and sell it. What would be a good price? It would be no more than a few months old and [presumably] kept in good condition (no scratches on cartridge label, etc.) with the box.

I hope we're allowed to ask questions about Pokémon video games here... the rules thread seems to indicate that we can discuss items other than cards.

Thanks for the advice, but I don't really want to buy a used one. Besides, part of my reason for doing this would be buying it at Target (with a gift card I just got nonetheless) for the Lucario code.

If you did everything you needed to do fast enough, you could still return it to Target. It's just you'd get more store credit (i.e. another gift card) :/

If you flip it on Ebay, you could probably get $20-$25 for it. Maybe even $30.

I would definitely have it for more than a month, so I wouldn't be able to return it. I was thinking of trying to sell it to someone in my local Pokémon community if anyone is interested.

In all seriousness however I think your best bet is to try local pawn shops then if you don't want to pay retail. Howeer I believe ebay, amazon etc will also have cheaper used games, but since you want new, new is retail.

You won't be able to buy a new one for cheaper then you could sell it once it's used. You'd have to buy a very cheap used one, and sell it for more.

I don't mind paying retail for it (that's definitely what I would be doing), and I'm well aware that I won't be able to get as much back when I sell it. I'm just asking how much I could sell a slightly used (a few months most likely) B/W game for, in good condition with the box and inserts included.

I highly suggest waiting for BW2 or whatever, considering that these are going to go on the back burners, like Diamond and Pearl did when Platinum came out....

Well (not knowing when BW2 comes out), you could get $20-$25 for it on Ebay, but once BW2 come out, the value will drop a solid amount.

How old the cartride is isn't going to matter. Used is used, no matter how long you've had it. At this point in time, if you did sell it before Black and White 2, you should be able to get around 20-25 dollars for it. Ebay and Amazon are going to be your two best bets to sell it off. After October 7th, you're probably looking at 15 or so for it.

I wouldn't be selling it until after B/W2 comes out. I also would likely be selling it personally to someone local instead of going through eBay.
