An eviloited Reshiram EX can tear Garchomp/Altaria into shreds if you know what I mean...

I don't see the purpose of why Siglyph is in the deck.

Giratina ex: Shred for 90 plows right through Siglyph's ability
Registeel ex: -20 Resitance and can spread damage on the bench anyways
Darktai ex: Again, the -20 resistance and you can spread 30 on the bench.

I suppose Sigilyph would be an alright card to use against most ex Pokemon (after your opponent has used up all of their catchers), but even then you can retreat and bring out a non-ex attacker to OHKO Siglyph.

IF you power up your Reshiram EX, then I can see how that would be an issue. However, Garchomp will most likely be up and running before you have the chance. That's the alure behind this deck. Once ANY deck is set up, it will be very difficult for Garchomp to take the lead. Gartaria simply excels at setting up quickly and pumping out consistent damage.

As for Sigilyph, which deck do you mean? I don't think it has a place in either of these decks. In general though, I think the plan is to have only Sigilyph out, so Pokemon Catcher doesn't help. Yes, non-EX can still KO it, but I think it exists just to curb the trend of EX-only decks, like Quad Entei. Not unlike Heatmor from DEX, it acts as more of a deterrent than a weapon.

Both decks are solid, competitive decks. Chomp has an incredibly fast and strong early game while Hydreigon has a close to unbeatable late game (as long as you time Max Potions well). From testing, I prefer Hydreigon, but both are about equal.

From what I've tested, multiple decks that can't OHKO a Darkrai are overwhelmed by Max Potion, even if it seems like the other deck is winning.

As for Garchomp/Altaria, it can turn out superior, but it needs speed. The major issue is 70 HP Altaria being an easy KO, especially if Hydreigon NVI is teched, or if your opponent plays Raikou. Really anything that can hit for 70 and holding a catcher in hand can solve the high damage output.

Overall I recommend Darkrai/Hydreigon. Max Potion is great and the deck has a toolbox like fit since it can work with Prisms and Blends, letting the builder get a little more techy than a person building Garchomp/Altaria.
