Can i count a ripper as a ref?

Does it count as a ref, if s/he have recieved, and i haven't?

They can list you as a ref since they got the card you sent them. I would not list them in your refs untill you get the card they are to send you.

What i meant was:

S/he recieved.

I got ripped/Never recieved.

Can i count it as a ref?
I sent the cards successfuly. +1 ref?

(I'm not talking about anyone.)

Why? You're giving "credit" to someone who cannot give "credit" to you. By adding them as a ref, you make them out to be legitimate. They could also use you by saying "I'm on so-and-so's ref list" and rip someone else off.

What you should do is make sure people know he is a ripper so that other do not get ripped by him

I list Avmozz as a reference and he's the biggest ripper the 'gym has ever seen.

I think not because you would be acknowledging him as a good trader. If you list him as a good ref, take him off the ripeer/bad trader list.

Absolutely NOT! That is NOT what that thread is for - and the sooner everyone understands that, the less posts i will have to delete. That thread is ONLY so someone can put their Traded With list on so it can be found in a central location. Questions and posts like "so-and-so" ripped me off do NOT belong posted in that thread. That thread does tel what to do if you have potentially been ripped off and making a post is nowhere in the directions.

Oh sorry for suggesting that. I misunderstood as I saw several posts saying that so and so is a bad trader and stuff.

Those are not really "so-and-so is a Bad Trader" posts but are the poster's Traded With list. If they already have a Traded With list, the post gets deleted/edited. If they do not, that post is their Traded With list. If they post again, that post gets deleted or edited with a link pointing them to their Traded With post (if i can find it).

Seems there's a little confusion over what exactly a reference list is for, and both ways seem able to benefit both traders.

Some people are seeing it as a list of people you consider good traders, i.e. a list of people you're leaving positive references for. Others are seeing it as a list of people who would consider you a good trader - as in people who can be asked to give you references (whose reference list you may very well appear on).

So it depends entirely on which perspective you take.
