Luxray's power vs. Absol ex, etc.

If I use Luxray's Gleam Eyes to force the opponent to bench an Absol ex, does it's power come into effect?

I merely ask out of interest really, as it says when 'you put Absol from your hand to the bench.' (on Absol)

Does this mean that the player owning the Absol is actually playing it, meaning s/he can use Cursed Eyes? Or is the Luxray player 'playing' the Absol, (which I assume would mean the power is not used.)

This goes for all cards with a 'coming into play' effect.

Absol ex's Cursed Eyes Poke-Power is played by the owner of the card, and only during the owner's turn.

(Once during your turn, when you put Absol ex from your hand onto your Bench...)

All of the "your" is clearly the owner of Absol ex, and the owner can't use that ability on your turn.

I did have to check the text though...tricky question.

As far as other cards - there are a lot of cards. In general, they're going to follow the same system of how they are phrased.
