I know a surefire way that TPCi would stop including Emerging Powers in their box sets and tins.
We need a volunteer. A very very rich volunteer, and I don't mean rich, I mean filthy stinkin rich. That volunteer must travel to every wal-mart, card shop, target, kmart, toysrus, every place that sells pokemon cards, and buy every emerging powers booster pack they could find. That volunteer's monetary sacrifice will not be in vain if TPCi stops adding Emerging Powers to their box sets and tins. And then TPCi, seeing how well Emerging Powers sold, would print some more, and thus negating the fact that all that volunteer wanted to do is to buy out every single emerging powers product until it is out of stock. DAMN!!! |

I doubt they ship to USA though. |

I contacted The Pokemon Company twice, and they did not give me a release date. They just gave me the generic "keep checking on Pokemon.com" response both times. I'll be pretty upset if we get them September 31. Only the people who have paid $30 per Ex will stand a chance at Battle Roads otherwise.

I don't mind getting EP so much, as it's a shot at a catcher. However, B/W does make me a little sad.

Not really. 4 Garchomp and 4 Altaria are 80$. 2 Mewtwo are 60$. It would be cheaper to build Zekrom/Eelektrik than it would be to build Garchomp/Altaria...

Garchomps are under $10 and Altaria is under $5. You can find Darkrai and Mewtwo around $20 if you look hard enough. If you don't want to spend money on the EXs then play a deck that doesn't use any. Ninetales/Amoongus is the first one that comes to mind.

Garchomps are $14 now. Darkrai isn't under $25 no matter where you look, and that's if you're lucky. Ninetales decks will fail, as will Garchomp/Altaria. Turn 2 80-100 sounds nice, but they just can't stand up to Darkrai or cheap catcher KO's on Altarias.

garchomp and altaria are dirt cheap right now since people are finding out it's not a good deck. My store is selling them @ 7 a piece for chomp and 2 for altaria.

80 dollars for the 8 cards. MAYBE 20-25(depending on catcher count). Thats about as cheap a deck as youll be able to build and still be competitive. And since when does the deck play mewtwos. Seems like adding in dce along with fighting and blend energy would get clunky.

Weve had emerging powers pretty much everywhere, and not much Noble Victories. LOL
When will we get a break? and I wonder what the Winter tins will feature. As for the cards, they've seen decline as anti-ex decks started popping up, so the cards would sell for around $8? Probably not reccomended. just by 5 DEX packs. |
