I don't know what cards you have so I would say try not to run so many of one type of trainer. It becomes inconsistent.

What is a standard set of trainers to start with and work with?

Loooool.
-4 Pokeball -3 Cilan -2 Copycat -2 Cynthias Feelings -1 Team Rockets Trickery -1 Revive -1 Team Galactics Mars -1 Energy Retrieval -1 Flower Shop Lady -1 Prof Rowan -1 Rival -1 Potion +2 Dual Ball +3 Catcher +3 Junk arm +1 Super rod +1 switch +3 PONT +3 Juniper +3 N Needed more draw support to begin with. Pokeball is a bad trainer. Running multiple 1 lines of trainers is bad. Imo this deck isn't really going to work well, even if it's unlimited/''just for fun.'' Two stage 2s that are different types. Meh |

Would have been nice if you actually put what set the cards were from instead of the number, but hey, that's what google's there for. Incase anyone is wondering, the OP is using:
Machamp (Triumphant) Kingdra (Unleased) Okay the Pokemon line is just a combination of 2 different pokemon that do not directly support each other in any way apart from dealing damage. Why waste space incorporating a different line and just focus on making one line strong and using other pokemon to support it? it isn't even like you're using Kingdra Prime for additional damage by sniping from the bench while Machamp stays active, you're using the Holo Kingdra. I would say focus on the Kingdra line but use different Kingdra's. You want to use Kingdra Prime and Kingdra from the Legends Awakened set. For a single energy these 2 pokemon can deal 60 damage. Kingdra LA can deal 20 to the bench as well as dealing 60 to the active. However when you combine Kingdra LA with Kingdra primes Poké-Power and Expert Belt, you've got yourself a moster of a force as you'll be dealing as much as 100 damage for a single energy. Heck you can use 4 Kingdra Prime and hit for 120 damage for 1 energy, however if a fire pokemon hits the field Kingdra primes attack will be weakened. Lets start with a core list 4-3-4 Kingdra (2 Prime / 2 Legends Awakened OR 4 Prime) 3-3 Claydol (Great Encounters) 1 Uxie LA 1 Unown Q 3 Rare Candy 3 Broken Time-Space 12 Water Energy Broken Time-Space is an amazing card that allows you to evolve you pokemon on the same turn you played them, however it's a Stadium so it works for your opponent as well. However the pros outweighs the cons seeing as you the right search cards you can get a T1 Kingdra up hitting for 60/80 damage. Claydol and Uxie for draw. As for the rest of the trainer section, that depends on what you're willing to get your hands on but ideally, what you'd want is 4 Pokemon Collector 4 Pokemon Communication 1 Luxury Ball As far as seach power goes. this is pretty solid as with any deck you need to be able to reliably search out the cards you need. |
