Dragons Exalted Prerelease report for Richmond, VA!

Hello, I went to a prerelease yesterday, and thought you guys might enjoy the report. I got there, did a bit of trading and then got my packs. I got a Terrakion-EX and five regular non holo rares, but all the nonholo rares were square cut, so that was just fine. So, I made my deck, and it looked like this:
2 Emolga
3-1-1 Hydreigon (bad one)
1 Terrakion-EX
2 Stunfisk
2 Sawk
1 Tool Scrapper
2 Giant Cape
1 Rescue Scarf
5 Darkness energy
19 Fighting Energy
Anyway, on with the report.


R1 Vs. Registeel-EX
He set up a Registeel-EX and started sweeping me. Until something happened. He had taken 3 prizes with Triple Lazer to my 0, and I sent up my Deino. The one that can paralyze on a coin flip. It had no damage on it, and I paralyzed it for 5 turns in a row. That was long enough to set up a Hydreigon on the bench, and I did. I could only use Consume, but it gave him trouble for long enough to put it in OHKO range for my now fully set up Terrakion-EX. He KOed the Hydreigon, bringing him to 1 prize, and I send up Terrakion-EX to KO it, and he can't set up anything from there. It was close. GG.

Round 2 Vs Roserade
I start with my boss Stunfisk. I hit for 20 to the active and 20 to the bench T1, and he goes, attaches to the Benched Roselia and passes. I Rumble, thinking that Roselia has 60 HP, but it didn't. It had 70. So he attaches to the benched and passed. I drew, attached to my benched Sawkand hit for 20 to the Active and 20 to the benched, KOing the active. He sends up his lone Roselia, evolves to Roserade and KOs my Stunfisk. I send up Sawk and attack for game, as he had no more benched Pokemon.

Round 3 Vs Giratina-EX
I start Stunfisk, going first for the first time all day. I hit for 20 to the random active and the benched Giratina-EX for 20. Next turn, he attaches to Giratina and passes. I attach to Stunfisk again and hit the active and the Giratina for 20 more. His turn, he attaches to Giratina and passes. My turn, I do 20 more to the Giratina and KO the active, and I can't remember for the life of me what it was. He sends up Giratina, but can't get the necessary energy to attack, so he passes. I attach to a benched Stunfisk and hit Giratina for 20 more, along with a 60 HP basic on his bench. His turn, he draws and uses Shred, because he finally got the energy he needed. I draw, attack with 20 with the Stunfisk again, hitting the 60 HP basic. His turn, he uses Shred to KO my Stunfisk. My turn, I use the Stunfisk on my bench to do 20 more damage and KO the basic on the bench. His turn, he attaches Giant Cape and does 90 to my Stunfisk. Next turn, I pass because I want to do something really cool. He draws and Shreds again for KO. I send up my fully powered Sawk and attacked for 70. His turn, he has 10 HP left, so had I not passed with the Stunfisk instead of attacking, the game would have ended already. But he Shreds for 90, KOing Sawk. I send up Deino, draw and use Tool Scrapper for game, because it had 190 damage with 200 HP, and the Tool Scrapper discarded the Giant Cape, leaving it with 180 HP and 190 damage. GG.

Round 4 Vs I can't remember.
This game was just bad. He had a Rayquaza-EX and a Giratina-EX, but he couldn't get either. He couldn't get anthing set up, and I KOed a few things with Stunfisk, and Terrakion finished the job after he finally managed to KO Stunfisk. It was just a mess for him. Sorry!

Round 5 Vs Rayquaza-EX and Wailord.
Whew, this was awesome. This isn't the first time we have battled with something important on the line. He starts Rayquaza-EX, Bidoof and Wailmer to my Stunfisk. I started sniping T1, but he got a Biberal (I probably destroyed that name, lol) out after a couple of turns. He couldn't hit a Lightning energy until it was to late. I had him locked active, and he had no choice but to KO Stunfisk. Afted he did, I activated Terrakion-EX and KOed Rayquaza, and he couldn't get anything set up the whole rest of the game. Sorry man, hope we get to have a better game next prerelease!

So, I won the whole thing! That was awesome. I won 2 packs! Same as everyone else, lol. Now for props and slops!

Standard prerelease rules, 4. Why? The whole "he took 3 prizes" in the first match was a typo, it was meant to be a 2.
