Hay everbody :)

I was thinking about what is the best strategy for ko-system-tournaments?

-A hight teched deck?

- A hight constant deck?

- or a mix of both ?

Focus on consistancy and only tech if it's absolutely necessary or game-breaking for your metagame.

Consistency is #1

IMHO the best play is to build an uber consistent deck and then start taking out consistency cards for metagame techs and see if it still works smoothly. There comes a point when too many techs take away the consistency and the whole thing fails. Then you find your balance.

Consistency is the most important factor. Techs can be ignored, by simply choosing a deck that has no need for any crazy tech, like Kingdra. If using SP, I would make an extremely consistent version first. Test it a lot. Then slowly add techs until you've reached the point where they ruin consistency, and remove that last tech.
