Newb Question

When I put Giant Stump the stadium in play does my opponent and I both pick up prizes for each others KOed Pokemon? Are prizes awarded at all when this card is played?

Giant Stump doesn't say anything about KO'ing Pokemon.
It says to discard Pokemon (until you have a max of 3 on the bench).

There is no KO. No prizes are taken.
