Best Tech to Beat the Luxray GL X?

With Luxray being heavily played, Im wondering what good techs there are to beat it. The only one I've thought of is Whishcash 4.

Any thoughts?

I'm not convinced by Toxicroak promo. It's a OHKO, sure but you will likely get OHKO'd back, and sometimes it even works against you as they are only a Premier Ball away from another Bright Look. Luxray isn't active on your turn that often anyway (except when hitting for weakness).

It's not bad or anything, but it isn't THE answer to Luxray decks.

The best solution is to stop what makes the card great in the first place by using Mesprit Locks and Power Sprays.

But it's always nice to have a good tech to ohko it. Currently im running a Palkia G Lock - so I pretty much need something to counter.

Depends on what deck you're playing. If a Stage 2-centered deck, then a 1-1-1 or 1-0-1 line of Machamp. If a Stage 1-centered or SP deck, Toxicroak G promo or (especially if you're using any -types) Lucario GL. Even using Claydol as a weapon can OHKO the un-leveled-up form.

^2 pluspowers FTW XDXDXDXDXD toxi G PROMO is best if you can flip a heads though, as you get a free KO and then it goes back in your hand.

^only takes 1 energy to use and it's power can just get it away at any time. also doesn't hurt your bench.

Toxicroak is great against Luxray/Infernape, but useless against straight Luxray since Sunyshore will negate the weakness factor. Uxie lv. X in Luxray/Infernape would also provide a good counter to the counter-- Luxray KOs something, Toxicroak KOs it, and then Uxie lv. X takes it to a higher level with Zen Blade.
