Computer Problem
Everytime I restart my computer a small box pops up and says:
Explorer has caused an error in ~8272807082. TMP . Explorer will now close. If you continue to experience problems try restarting your computer. If I exit it off or click close, everything on my computer dissappers except the wallpaper so I just leave the message on and go on the internet and such.I searched my computer to see where ~8272807082. TMP was and found that it was in my temporary internet folder.I tried deleting it but it said this program was in use. It also gave a descption of this file and said it was last modified today and it size was 70KB. Does anyone know how I can make this pop up thing go away? Spyware protection: 1) Go to www.panicware.com 2)Click Download 3)Scroll Down Untill you See "Panicware Spyware remover, V 1.3 (New) 4) Click it and follwo teh prompts. That is the newer version but they should be updating it soon so keep checking. When you gewt it downloaded It will run and Automaticially Check for "Spyware" And it will click tehm all you have to do when It is done Is click Fix selcted problems. Virus protection: 1)go to http://www.grisoft.com/us/us_avg_index.php and Download the Free version Of AVG(Anti-Virus-Guard)Note, this is The BEST Free Virus Protection you can get. If you keep iot updated it will Nail every Virus BEfore you get it...... Hope this helps...PM me if this doesn't go Good or you need help with anyhtign else. LMK if this works. If that doesn't Work, And you bought your CPU You should have a quick Restore disk. Pop that into your CPU and then restart. If that doesn't work, to to start and run and type in msconfig
That will launch the System Configuration Utility, click on the Startup tab and see if the item is listed there. If it is, uncheck it and then Apply and close, then restart. It should go away.

Technology never agrees with me, when I try to fix things, even if I do everything right, it just gets worse. If it comes to it get your computer fixed at a computer place.

most likely u need to reinstall the drivers for it, something probably corrupted the drivers....
u should have a cd of some sort with the drivers on it, if nothing else, go to the manufacturers website and they should be on there.....

If you don't know what your doing ask someone in your town that does, that's the best thing to do.

I wholeheartedly disagree with Squirtle's statements. Those are Dial Up Networking modem errors, that have nothing to do with hackers. Error 629 means there is likely something wrong on the server you are trying to connect to. Also it could mean something with your username and password. Error 666 means that the computer is having diffuculty communicating with the modem. It could be a driver problem, but it also could be a hardware problem with the modem as well. Not everything is related to hackers, Squirtle. Please do some research before you answer questions like this.

Hackers really aren't as big a problem as you may think. Before I installed Service Pack 2 on my machine I wasn't running any firewalls or the like, because simply there was no need(SP2's built in firewall is on by default, and it is pretty good as well). You're far more likely to have problems with spyware, in which case simply downloading Spybot and Ad-Aware and running them every so often will keep you clean (and make sure you don't install ActiveX controls unless you actually are sure you know who wrote them... improvements in Service Pack 2 help to keep you from doing that).
Hackers really don't bother with little people, unless you make yourself inviting (running P2P software, downloading files off of IRC, downloading attachments you aren't sure of the source in e-mails). They simply don't have that much time to waste.
