From the Compendium---(its the Gray Button on the end....crazy good info there!!)

Q. If I use Blastoise's "Waterlog" Poke-POWER to attach a bunch of Basic Water energies onto a Forretress with the "Iron Shell" Poke-BODY, can I attach an energy, then flip for "Iron Shell", then attach another energy, then flip again, etc.?
A. No, when using Waterlog you attach all the energies first, and then after that you perform the Iron Shell flips for each of the energies that got attached to Forretress. (Apr 14, 2009 PUI Rules Team)

Apparently you can flip for multiple attaches...you just ahve to attach them all at once.

I do believe that you can use up your energy attachment for the turn on Forretress, then use Blastoise's pokepower to attach energies to Forretress and that this would give you two different sets of flips.

It's a good combo, although I've heard that the combo is under review. But for now, the combo still works.

And that deck was being played by exobyte, Pokemon's R&D manager, so I think you can take that as a "yes, this works".
