What are those boosts you guys were talking about? Are they special boost energy cards? If so, are you allowed to use them in modified?

Dro~ No they are not usable in league or tourneys as they are from a Japanese set that is not out in the States or Europe yet. Crash of the Green Sky I believe or some such ridiculous name!! :D

Umm... Gotta correct you on that, TheGame.
Since Boost Energy has been printed in English (in the Aquapolis set), the Japanese CotGS version would be OK in league play and Unlimited tournaments, provided you housed it in an opaque-backed card sleeve. It won't be legal in Modified until the English release of CotGS (probably sometime in February). - Croatian "give your collection a boost" Nidoking

yeah yeah..."BOOST NRG"...oooooooooooooooooooooh, big WOW...just everybody hold on to your OLDIE'S...because, as soon as this set gets released...the OLDIE'S from AQUAPOLIS are LEGAL!!!
For those that made the trip to WORLD'S, most players from japan had HOLO VERSION'S, yeah you heard me right...HOLO'S...was able to get one, but most of them would not trade 'em...hopefully we get those holos...in japan, they were released as PROMO'S through there league play!!! Pretty sweet looking card...kinda bum that we have to wait for BREAKING THE BLUE SKY...but yeah, c'ya |

That would be sweet but the prerelease has always been a card from the set being released and Boost energy is not in TRR.

Croatian Nidoking....Ummm modified league play and tourneys are what I was referring to. It is extremely rare that sanctioned tourney play and indeed league play is played in an unlimited stylee!! But yes you are of course correct on the unlimited play. Gosh! I can feel a hankering to get out my old Sneasel/Slowking deck!!
