2009 Worlds Tropical Wind Staff Error Card

I have a mint, 2009 Worlds Tropical Wind Staff card with the DP25 number versus the correct DP48.

Thoughts on price?

Around $60 either way. From what i can tell there wasn't a significant number of one over the other.

That being said, I think these have more potential to go up in price than the other Tropical Winds since there are fewer of each from 2009 than previous year's Tropical Winds that didn't have an error version.

Yeah i would say $60-65 is a good price. I bought a top 32 for $80 if that helps put it in perspective a bit

Thanks folks. I am very curious as to how many STAFF promos are out there that are in error. There were roughly 100 staffers and volunteers, each getting at least one, solicited staff 2. If there were say on 50 in existance, I would have thought they would be valued more. Hmm

From what I have heard the error print is the only one out there. I know this happened on a few others, top sixteen and so on, but I am not sure I have seen a lot of them though, more errors than non-errors.

Strictly speaking on the STAFF stamped, I've seen relatively equal numbers of errors to corrected. I'm sure they will go up in value once there is something more definitive as to how many of each there are though. I'm just glad to have been able to pick up one of each early.

BTW, didn't each of the staff receive 2 staff cards?

They have shown up unstamped in the binders as well. It isn't isolated to just the stamped promos.

The error isn't always the "good" one so don't beat yourself up just yet!

Yes true Wayne the one that might not be an error might end up being more rare/valuable.

We did an informal survey after Worlds and they seem to be about 50-50 error-correct.
