TCG: HGSS To be released Feb. 2010! NEW TINS!

However, Great Pokemon have been dubbed: "Pokemon Prime"

The Colectors tins announced (now with Pokemon Prime) are the Fully evolved Johto Starters, Which is great, as they will be great in a multiple of decks. Personally, I don't like the other Primes (except Crobat), as they are not great, although blissey could see the return of Tank. Amphy and Donphan are Weak, and Ursaring's attacks are too expensive.

There is also a Poster pack with 2 HGSS Boosters, 2 Promo packs, a poster (duh!), and a promo Lugia and Ho-oh, which are Likely to be:

I don't know how viable this info is, but I will say that the Great Pokemon should be the same as Lv. X's or Ex's as far as rarity. I however am unsure on how rare the Legends are going to be. I think that it will be 1 in 3 boxes, but that is a guess and nothing more. It is going to be a great set when it comes out, however the fact that DCE is going to make GG comeback doesn't make me the happiest person world.

I'm really hoping the Primes are as rare as Lv. Xs in Supreme Victors (3-4), and that Legends are 1 per box or so. Here's to hoping.

Yippee. i have been waiting for this to come for awhile. i say 1 legend per box just like everyone else. and probably 3-4 Prime like the Arceus X's. tins are a good thing. they get us what we want(sometimes) and give us extra packs whats to complain about?

Great Pokémon in Japanese, Prime Pokémon in English. I'm still confused about why these "special Pokémon" have any "special name" at all. 0_o They have nothing that distinguish them from other Pokémon, except their rarity and physical appearance. Great/Prime is written nowhere on the card, and no other cards mention them either. It's a complete mystery to me, maybe we'll know more in the second HGSS set?
