Azumatoise

THIS DECK IS HUGE THIS DECK ROX!!!!!!!!!

Pokemon: 20
x4 Wooper
x4 Quagsire
x4 Squirtle
x3 Wartortle
x3 Blastoise EX
x2 Dunsparnce

Trainers:
x4 TV Reporter
x4 Steven's Advice
x2 PokeNav
x3 Celio's Network (WAYYYY BETTER!)
x3 Rare Candy
x3 Mr Briney's Compassion
x3 Pokemon Reversal

Energy: 18
x18 Water

Just get out Blasty EX out ASAP, then get out Quagsire, because when you attach ,you don't play damge, you remove 1 instead , and attack doing alot oif damage depending on how much NRG do mass amounts of damage, then MR brineys, then power up again, continously doing lots of damage per turn...

Look Down to see what Quagsire does.

Here's what will happen when you're playing vs a good deck:

You load 5-6 energy on Azumarill.
You KO someone (maybe).
You have only 30-40 HP left thanks to Energy Rain, so the next guy comes up and KO's Azumarill and you lose 5-6 energy in the process. Magneton is a much better attack for Blastoise. If you consider average damage, Magneton does 20 less on average. But he is MUCH more consistant, and he uses energy on the bench, so you lose 2 energy when he dies rather than 5-6. And then your next Magneton gets the energy back out of the discard pile with Magnetic Field.

i like exeggutor better. 40 per flip. plus if you realy want, you can use psychic exchange to shuffle and draw 8.
i mean, whats the use of Paralyzeing if they are going to die.

also, people in the USA are adicted to dunsparce. we should break the habbit.

This is very true. I thought of Azumarill and Blastoise too, but after a little more thought it has lots of flaws compared to Magneton. First and foremost that Azumaril (like Exeggutor) relys on flips and that is not consistant at all. I've played many Exeggcutor decks (even tried one out myself when fr/lg came out) it (like Azumaril) takes too many energy to use and isn't reliable.

I was going to say this too, no point in paralysis if you're going to k.o. them anyway. Also this whole deck is weak to Lightning, besides sparce. It's not a bad idea, but Magneton is just better as an attacker.

I know what you mean, the U.S is too addicted to sparce, I used to hate sparce and not use it in my decks, but if you think about it makes a lot of sense because it gives you a great start and less chance of losing your active and losing the game. I still hate sparce, mainly because after the beginning it is useless, but I still use it because even though it has its flaws it also has it good points. Besides getting out 3 more Pokemon, the big thing is that you can start evolving them next turn. There is no other way to do that, besides using a Lanette's Search if you go second, but even then you cant get all the ones you need unless your deck has multiple types. Also another way is if you use 3 great balls or 3 Pokeballs/ 2 dual balls with heads.

Hi Higher,

Consider to use the new Quagsire over the Azumarril since it is not left defenseless once the resources have been attached to it and is also able to knock out several Basic and Stage one Pokémon in one turn.

Quagsire
Stage one Water Pokemon
Hi Points: 80
Poké-Body: ?
When you attach a W energy from your hand, remove 2 damage counter and all status effects from Quagsire.
[W] Hyper Pump 20+
This attack does 20 damage plus 20 more damage for each energy card attached to Quagsire but not used to pay for this attack. You can't add more than 60 damage in this way.
Retreat Cost: CC
Weakness: L

Nothing wrong with being addicted to good cards. It's not because we're all used to Sparce. It's because most decks involve a setup, and Sparce gives you that.

Dark Umbreon, you do realize that there's a cap on how much damage Quagsire can do. It says you can't add more than 60 dmg in this way. 4 energy 80 dmg still rocks, but you might want something else to go along with it (Magneton maybe?)

Hi Physics Squirrel,

Thats correct but one can use transfer technics and Rocket's Suicone Ex for that. Nevertheless the deck is ex intensive and thus a little slow on the whole. Walrein with no Quagsire would be a little faster than Blastoise ex decks and thus a lot more viable.

You don't even need Stoise if you have Azumaril... -_- It's first attack has the same effect as dance, except you don's have to take the damage for playing the energy. I'd play something that'd do more damage, like i saw mentioned before Exeggutor would do well. If you're gonna do something like that, play Milo too so you can heal after Energy Rain. Here's the list i would use...

Pokemon: 22
3 Squirt
2 Turtle
3 Stoise
3 Exeggute
3 Exeggutor
2 Feebas
2 Milo
4 Dunsparce

Energy: 16
12 Water
4 DRE

Trainers: 22
4 Steven's Advice
3 TVR
1 POR
3 Celio's
3 VS Seeker
3 Briney's
3 Rare Candy
2 Stadium of some kind..

You may want to switch out some supporters for something else, but this should do great. Hope I helped.

I play quagsire becuase of the fact you can remove 2 damage counters from it when you attach a enrgy...
but if you want magneton that much...

-2 Quagsire
-2 Wooper
-1 Squirtle
-1 Wartortle

+3 Magnemite
+3 Magneton

-2 Water
+2 DRE

-2 Pokenav
+1 Celio's Network, (with the new modification, y0u need 4)
+1 DRE

That's pretty much it if you want to play this deck
