...this attack does 30 plus 20 more damage for each Energy you discarded

The Japanese Version is that, does 20 more damage for each energy cards discarded in this way.

If PUI dont errata this card, you can do 110 instead of 70 damage by discarding a boost and a lightning Energy, It is overpowered for a stage 1 ex pokemon.

So I hope the PUI errata this card as soon as possible.

Well if that's what the Japanese version is, then I'm sure it will be errated eventually. Hopefully before Boost is rereleased. PUI has been doing a good job getting these sorts of problems fixed. Thanks for bringing this to the public though. (Even though it ruins my Trode deck idea =P)

Where's a scan of the Japanese card? The term "energy card" is easy enough for me to recognize, since it's written in kana and not in kanji.

Well, for what its worth, "card" is NOT written in Katakana anywhere on the card. That's not to say that its not implied or is written in Kanji--only that the term "Kaado" isn't written anywhere in Katakana.

Blaziken98, you don't get it. Nintendo honestly doesn't care if one player likes the card the way it is. They're errata'ing the card because Electrode ex is a different way in Japanese, and we need to synchronize our rulings somehow, because at the World Championships, the Japanese and American players will get confused if there are different rulings. The East Side players were pretty cool to adapt some of our rules when they came over here, so I think you should be more than happy to let Nintendo errata the card.

the word '枚 (mai)" in japanese mean 'a sheet of' in this situation.
a sheet of energy = 1 energy card.

does 20 more damage for each sheets of energy discarded in this way ... sth like that.

Isn't there a gust of wind card from TRR that only works when you're behind in prizes? Well, you can combo it with electrode ex. First you knock it out, let your opponent draw two prizes, then you should be able to use that trainer card. Oh, have gengar ex ready to do 100 too. So even electrode ex's attack is not good anymore, it still has some use.

dude i run the deck with 10 fire, 4 elec and 2 multi.

trode ex works fine w/o dre or boost boost makes him even better than he already is. how can u say he sux when he works just fine using reg nrg

Great.

But in Japanese wording, they use "枚" and "個" instead of KAADO.

枚 as I said means "a sheet of"
個 is a quantifier of Energy.

For Example,
If sth discard 2枚 Energy = Discard 2 energy cards, if you have only 2 bounce energy attached, you must discard 'em all.

But if sth wrote discard 2個 energy, means discard two energy, so you can discard only 1 of them.

i hope you guys know what I mean :p

Why should we change for the sake of Capitalism, lets move Worlds! Example: There was a number1 player for the swiss rounds at NZ nationals, therefore the most likely to goto Worlds at the end of the day. Gaving up his number one spot to be in his Father's house on Sunday. Statically, PUI is lossing great talent by holding events on Sunday.
