Darkrai Lv.X / Cresselia Lv.X w/ a side of Gengar

I've been playing for a couple weeks now and this is the deck i'm using right now. It's kinda an odd set up but it's worked wonders for me. Either I'm getting lucky, the people i play aren't good, or i just stumbled upon a great deck set up.

Pokemon - 17

Darkrai - 2
Darkrai - Lv.x - 2
Cresselia - 2
Cresselia - Lv.x - 2
Gastly - 2
Haunter - 2
Gengar - (Feint Spell) - 1
Gengar - (Curse) - 1
Shuppet - 1
Dunsparce - 1
Misdreavus - 1

Support/Stadium/Trainers - 21

Moonlight Stadium - 2
Bebe's Search - 4
Expert Belt - 2
Department Store Girl - 2
Warp Point - 2
Pokemon Collector - 1
Roseanne's Research - 2
Buffer Piece - 2
Scott - 2

Energy - 22

Special Darkness Energy - 4
Dark Energy - 4
Rainbow Energy - 2
Psychic Energy - 12

With this set up, i always got energies coming, and my support cards help me get set up fast. Cresselia Lv X + Gengar (Curse), can help switch around damage from the bench. Darkrai LV.X and Gengar (Feint) can put out nice damage. With Moonlight stadium up, i can switch between sleeping them with Darkrai, then pulling in Cresselia Lv.X next turn for the 2 prize ko hit. Cresselia, Darkrai, and both Gengars can Ko by theselves and almost always last long enough for me to get 1 - 2 more set up on my bench. Cresselia Lv.X gets the benefit of healing 1 counter in between turns which helps. So far i haven't lost with this deck yet, i've gone agianst two mewtwo deck's and just by setting up gengar on my sidelines it's and easy KO due to Mewtwo's x2 weakness to psychic.

Comment on what you think.

This deck lacksd of consistency!
Try to get a 4 roseannes/bebes line and some cards which will be posted in the next few posts....

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

Try this List:

Pokemon 22

3 Darkrai
1 Darkrai LV.X
2 Cresselia
1 Cresselia LV.X
2 Mewto
1 Mewto LV.X
2 Baltoy (SV)
2 Claydol
1 Uxie
1 Azelf
3 Sneasel
3 Weavile
2 Unown G

Support/Stadium/Trainers 21

4 Roseanne´s Research
4 Bebe´s Search
2 Moonlight Stadium
1 Luxury Ball
2 Premier Ball
3 Broken Time Space
2 Night Maintenance
1 Lucian´s Assigment
2 Expert belt

Energy 14

4 Call
4 Darkness Special
4 Psychic Energies
2 Darkness Basic

The difference between your list and mine is that my list is much more solid and shure better.
I´ve added Claydol, Uxie, Weavile and a Mewto line itself, to make your deck playable against many setups.

For Example:

Machamp:

With your list you have not really a chance to win against a Machamp deck, because he OHKO all of your Basics, in case you didn´t play Unown G, which stops the effects of any attack.
10 - 90 for Machamp

With my list you have two Unown G and a useful T2 60 damage attack from weavile to defend against it.
45 - 55 for Machamp

SP - Decks:

Your List didn´t include anything against any SP deck.
10 - 90 for SP

In my list I added a Mewto Counter which is great in kombo with Cresselia which also is a Psycho Pokemon.
Mewto is really good against any SP deck because you can stop their Attacks with its Poke-Bodie.
45 - 50 for SP decks w/o Dialga G LV.X
10 - 90 for SP decks with Dialga G LV.X

- This were the 2 most important setups you have to tech for, because otherwise you would use nearly every game against them.

- Hope I helped you.

The mewtwo i've been thinking a lot about, it would go good. I'm only worried about people who counter basic pokemon really. Darkrai can pump out, 80damage + your asleep flipping 2 coins, or 100 + a chance to put u to sleep. With an expert belt thats 120 damage for Ko Hits. Switching out between cresselias i can hit 80 damage (no damage counters on Cresselia) or 100 with expert belt. Also if i switch out right 40 or 60 damage for Ko hit and 2 prize cards.

With my set up right now, 90% of the time. I've got Cresselia and darkrai set up on my bench, with 3 energy on one of them by turn 3 or 4. Wait for my opponent to KO my pokemon i put out, and then i just knock through there defending pokemon and bench.

If you take part at a tournament and you think that a player knocks out your active Pokemon by T3 or T4 you´ll loose most of the time, i would say try my list with weavile, because with the sw weavile you can attack with Darkrai T2 with 120 damage.
Then combine with the damage switch from Cresselia lv.x and try to pump up mewto by discarding psychics(play a cresselia until it is knocked out and then restore 2 psychics with mewto). - only against basic Pokemon decks!!!!
If your oppenent has an evolution deck you HAVE to go on with darkrai.
Pump them up with 3 darks belt/unown g and hit for 100 or 120 lat game......

- that is it, all the strategie of the deck....

That's exactly what his list suggests. Unown G for Machamp. If Mewtwo Lv.X is big, keep the Gengar line if you want. Make sure to get Claydol though.
