Super Awesome Gyarados NEED HELP!!!

Hey everyone, regionals is in less than a month, and I've switched from AuraRock to Gyarados after a 4-3 performance at states with the lucario Golem combo.
Here is the list:

Pokemon:
4 Magikarp SF
3 Gyarados SF
1 Regice LA
2 Crobat G PT
1 Azelf LA
2 Uxie LA
4 Sableye SF
1 Mankey SV
1 Combee SF

Trainers/ Supporters/ Stadium
3 Broken Time Space
1 Luxury Ball
4 Poketurn
3 Bebe's Search
4 Pokemon Collector
2 Expert Belt
4 Volkners Philosophy
3 Super Scoop Up
4 Pokemon Rescue
4 Pokemon Reversal
4 Pokemon Communication

Energys
1 Fighting energy
2 Cyclone Energy
2 Warp Energy

Basic Gyarados strategy, although tweaked a little. This deck is made to max out the damage that TAil Revenge can do. I added cards that are not usually used too. But basicaly, get out Gyarados t1 or t2, and hit big.

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

I need help! Please post advice besides adding sabelye. I still need to get my hands on a few.

Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, if you are going for a fast Gyarados, you don't want Tomb in here.

BTS and Pokemon Rescue are staples in Gyarados. When a Dos gets KO'd, get it straight back.

4 Sableye, 4 Felicity should be used

Run a Fighting for Donphan . . . you can't Roseanne for Rainbow

You need Azelf for when a Karp gets Prized

Combee SF is in all good Gyarados decks . . . retrieve a Karp even under Trainer Lock, then Bebe for a Dos.

Another Bat would be nice.

Warp Energy is your friend

Stuff you can cut . . . .

Tomb
Contest Hall
Elm
Prof Oak
Bench Shield
DCE

Don't cut Bench Shield. You'll need it to protect Regice against spreader decks. You need some Copycat and/or Looker's Investigation since it gets rid of a useless hand. You probably won't need Chatot.

I like these changes. I will not put in combee, as it is an easy target and luxchomp is at large. I have a fighting energy, i forgot to write it down... Dont have warp energy. Will get azelf. Keeping tomb. My deck needs darkness grace since i have no BTS. DCE is for emergency attacks with uxie or other cards like that. I will put in Pokemon rescue. Keeping shields.

if you have no BTS then you will not go far with this. gyarados is all about a fast recovery. if you get KOed, then pokemon rescue a magikarp and BTS it into gyarados. if you get highly damaged. super scoop it up then play it back down with BTS. sending up a crobat G just so you can free retreat. if you dont have BTS, then IMHO you shouldnt play gyarados until you get at least 3. because thats how many this deck requires. and no thats not just a personal opinion. I dont think I've ever seen a winning gyarados list that didnt have 3 broken time space.

if you don't put in combee, tomblock decks will defeat you.

you have to put in either combee or suicune, just don't play them if you're not under lock

Bump it up to the top.

The reason why azelf still isnt in there is because i don't have one, but will hopefully get one before regionals. I don't have combee either, so yah thats a bummer, but thats what regimove is for right ?)

combee retreives your discarded magikarps while under trainer lock.

regice is really nice early game as to discard karps and disrupt (getting tomb out), but I consider it useless late game (unless facing SP)

i'd say:

+1 uxie, +1 azelf, +2 Warp energy,
-2 Bench Shield, -2 switch

You really only need 1 uxie, seeing as your hand should be enormous, I like the dark arceus, but how about 2 multi, instead of 1 rainbow 1 fighting.

Drop 1 Uxie for a 3rd Gyarados. You need atleast 3, 2 is a VERY bad choice.

hey heres a way to counter a garrydos deck with a curse gar deck if you knok out gyrados have two spirit tombs out so they cant use pokemon rescue and if they do switch out with regieice you just bring up your other one and you can have two mister mimes but i know theres luxray x

I like it. I am making adjustments. Yes, dark arceus is really helpful when u r losin. 80 for 2, and it fits in quite nicely when you cant get another gyara

And about putting in combee. This is just my meta, but i have never seen anyone playing cursegar here in the seniors. The only person playing spiritomb from what i saw, was me at states.
