Ditto (LA)- SP + Energy Gain Scenario

Ditto VS Garchomp C Lv. X= Ditto is now Garchomp C Lv. X

Would Ditto be classified as a SP Pokemon if he became Garchomp C Lv X. If so, does that mean I can attach an Energy Gain on the Ditto?

Which Ditto? Fossil Ditto would.
The current Ditto in modified says nothing about copying all card attributes such as this.
