Raikou SW?

Is it worth it to tech one of these in my Magnezone deck?

It can essentially be a free crobat G each turn if I attach a energy that turn but im
not sure if the effect will be activated enough.

I run 4 Sp. , 3, and 5 in this deck

I think it might actually be a decent idea. With 5 Lightning Energy, you can possibly have a free 50 damage to each of your opponent's bench, and when a Magnezone dies with all the Lightning Energy attached to it, you can get the energy back and continue doing damage.

However, Raikou is ineffective unless you get Magnezone Lv. X into play (at about turn 3, where you have already attached a couple energy) and it has a high Retreat Cost, so it can be Bright Looked for stalling. Also, the attack is bad.

Overall, I'd say it could work, but just be aware of the possible hazards that could come from playing it.

Ok I will probably stick him in to try it out and I might make the energies more and less if it is a little slow.

[Rogue Archetype]

I like that idea alot. The attack is good so he's not just a lost bench spot. You can promote him, trans a few energy up to him and hit something ugly and let him take the hit. THis saves your Zones to sweep after they allocate resources to KO the Raikou.
