Question supplemental to notetaking

So you can only take notes of public knowledge, that means that you would not be able to write down what you have ruled as being in your prizes by looking through your deck during a search? (I know this isn't the intent of the search but many many players do this so that they know not to waste play of a certain trainer, such as premier ball, or know whether or not to search for that Azelf when you need the X out of your prizes). I know people do that and just remember that it's in the prizes, but is it legal to write that sort of information down or would you have to memorize it?

It is not legal to write what is in your prizes.
As noted, you can only write game state, public info.
This is not public
