Dunsparce's Strike & Run

Just want to verify something on this.

Dunsparce's Strike & Run attack state's -
"Search your deck for up to 3 Basic Pokemon and put them onto your bench.
Shuffle your deck afterward. You may switch Dunsparce with 1 of your benched Pokemon."

My question is - Following the order of text on the card, then I would be able to switch Dunsparce with 1 of the Pokemon I just searched for in my deck, correct?

Or if I choose to switch, does it have to be 1 of the Pokemon that was on my bench at the time of the attack?

I did this at the pre-release & not knowing which way to go I chose to be safe & switched with one on my bench at the time of attack.

This was posted yesterday in the Rules Meeting summary for 9/18. Sorry it was so late.

Q. For Dunsparce, if I choose to switch, does it have to be one of the Pokemon that was on my bench at the time of the attack, or can I switch for one of the new benched Pokemon that I just searched for?
A. Dunsparce can switch with any of your Benched Pokemon, including those that you placed as a result of the attack. (Sep 18, 2003 PUI Rules Team Meeting)
