hey guys i was just wandering if i go cursegar and kill a gengar sf and i send cursegar back to the bench and send somehting else out do ythey still get too flip a coin with gengar sf i think not im not sure thanks for reading.....

The current errata says attacking creature, not defending, which follows a pokemon even if it goes to the bench, so yes they will get to flip for fainting spell and you switch your genger with it's attack. The only places a pokemon can move to get out of the flip is if it goes to any place else other than the bench, such as your hand (shuppet), or the deck (uxie).

damage placement would stop the power tho correct? forget if it works similar to Final Wish.

It specifically says "Attack" in fainting spell.
You mean like a power from crobat g? If so, then no, the power would not happen at all.
Or an attack like Gengar SF's shadow room? If so, then yes, the power would happen.

No!
It specifically says damage from an attack.
Shadow Room does not do damage.

ok so if i go gengar hit and run then if they flip heads then the gengar would be killed ok thanks..
