How do I get stadium cards? In boosters? what series?

What type of deck do you play? Some of the more popular ones are:

Broken Time-Space (Platinum)
Moonlight Stadium (Great Encounters) - Rotating this year
Sunyshore City Gym (Platinum: Rising Rivals)

Actually, I'm new to the game. I have bought about 10-12 booster packs (HG/SS, Platinum, custom packs from my local store, Unleashed) and didn't find any stadium... So I was wondering if I have to buy them separately (like the Energy cards) or if I can catch them in packs

You can catch them in packs. Certain stadiums are in certain sets, some sets having more than others. You could also go the sure-fire way of buying them as singles on Ebay or something, though.
