uxie vs gengar

Here's the scenario: uxie LA uses psychic restore against gengar SF and it will be a knock-out. Uxie chooses to go to the bottom of the deck. Does gengar get to roll for fainting spell, or does psychic restore's effect happen before gengar's poke-body is activated?
