Wartortle Error?

Recently at the Sandstorm Release I met a dude who was into collecting Pokemon Cards (how srange).

He was telling me about the ultra cool error cards that we all want... I knew about most of them but there was one that was news to me, I believe it was a Base Set Wartortle and in the evolves from picture instead of a Squirtle the is a Wartortle. Is this card for real? Is there a scan around of it? What set is it from Base Unlimited, Base Set 1st Edition, BAse2?

I've seen one at the Pokemon Center NY League.
It's real.
It's from Base Set.

it is indeed real, I pulled one from a pack a long time ago and sold it recently on Ebay for 80 bucks=p
