Kaleido Star: The Amazing Finalle with Stage 6 "Reach for the Brass Ring"

Hi everyone. My review of Kaleido Stage is about to start. So make sure your room is brightly lit and that you are not sitting to close to the computer monitor.

Well, well, well. Could it possibly be the end to one of the most facinating and sweet animes I have ever seen, and why is my heart racing every night just thinking about the precious last four episodes I have seen on the show Kaleido Star?

In the final four episodes to the first season of Kaleido Star, Sora gains a new ally in Layla when she can now see the Spirit of the Stage, Fool. Sora is very excitied as the final adventure begins to unfold as both begin to train to prepare themselves for the most challenge manuver two humans could ever do in the heavens, the Legendary Great Manuver. When Yuri cowardly makes one last attempt to get Layla to rejoin Kaleido Stage, he learns of what the two are trying to do and ends up putting the very stage on the line by forcing them to do the Legendary Great Manuver in one month.

Layla and Sora finally track down Kalos and he helps them train in hopes that Fool may finally tell them the manuver. However Sora is pushed to her psyhical limits while Layla risks her life by fasting to lose weight. However neither girl's spirit wanes. Things start to fall apart when Layla smashes her shoulder into the side of the cliff. Layla claims she is alright however time is running out and when the group make their return to Cape Mery a day before event, Layla ends up in the hospital relizing she is breaking her arm. Howver she refuses to quit and despite their warnings from everyone, both Sora and Layla put their fear of dying aside. However even though Fool knows the time is now, he relizes attempting the manuver will be very costly for one of the girls.

What is the Legendary Great Manuver? Can Sora and Layla pull it off or will they die like the many who have tried before? It all depends on the turn of one final tarot card and the unshakable spirit of two girls who are Kaleido Stars.

If you haven't even seen the very first episode yet you really should. There is so much to gain from watching this incredible series. There is laugther, love, friendship, drama, adventure, risking lives, and an obsessive baby seal that is determined to eat Fool. Check out all of the volumes now out from ADV films.

Stage 1 - Welcome to the Kaleido Stage
Stage 2 - All Things Great and Small
Stage 3 - Great Expectations
Stage 4 - Fall from Grace
Stage 5 - Masquerade
Stage 6 - Reach for the Brass Ring

Now that the season has finished I am a bit overwhelmed from what I saw. This is a very special and very unique anime. Simple with no violence. This anime really benefits off of elements that we should employ in our lives and is perfect for the whole family. Please go check this out.

So what will happen now? Well Kaleido Stage is far from over, there is a whole new season waiting to appear. Sora will have even greater challenges to overcome as she must now work to become an even greater Kaleido Star. What is to come I do not know, however I can say that there will be another time when that amazing manuver will again be attempted.

"My wings are my dreams and on toward the sky."
