Fossils in the Lost Zone

Hello,

I have a follow up question to the question and answer below:

Hey everybody. Quick question. I think this one is fairly obvious, but Gengar Prime can hurl pokemon into darkness via an attached Rainbow energy, correct? Also, with Palkia G X, can your opponent choose to send benched fossils to the lost zone with Palkia's power? Thanks for the help!!

Rainbow counts as P (and all other colors), so yes.

Sure. They are Pokemon while in play.

Once in the lost zone would the fossil be seen as a pokemon or a trainer card?

They're not in play anymore once they are in the lost zone.
Back to just Trainers.
