reshiram/typhlosion tech help
pokemon-21
4 Reshiram 3-2-3 Typhlosion prime 2-1-2 Magnezone prime 2-2 Beartic Supporters-12 2 twins 2 professor elm 2Professor oak 3 pokemon collector 2 interviewers questions 1 judge Trainers-12 2 pokegear 1 full heal 2 pokemon catcher 1 pluspower 3 pokemon communication 3 rare candy Energy-15 7fire 3water 3dce 2rainbow Basically, I am trying to substitute nine tails for the free draw of Magnezone plus Magnezone 140hp and amazing lost burn makes it a lot better attacker. The Beartic is a great card for mirror matches and Zekrom defense. Any suggestions or thoughts on the deck would be great....... I got battle roads in the morning and I am going to try any last minute suggestions or tech back in ninetails, sorry I have not decided yet. |

Looking at the decklist, I see a few changes that could be made. First, drop the full heal. If you're so worried about special conditions, run switch. Switch also has other uses for things like typhlosion gettiing catchered up. Second, I would drop the magnezone and zekrom all together. This deck would rather set up a typhlosion that a magnezone, and magnezone doen't really work with typhlosion because you need you energy drops to be on your reshirams. If you want to add another stage 2, I would suggest a 2-0-2 kindra prime line, as it allows you to ko gothitelle, which should be a very popular deck. I would also drop the beartic line, as it takes up 10-12 spaces of the deck that could be used for consistancy(2cubichu+2 beartic+3 double colorless energy+3 water energy+2 rainbow energy?). I would also make most of your supporter in counts of 3-4, or drop them altogether. With these changes in mind, here is a possible decklist(Note: This list is untested, and I made it up in about 5 minues, with other list I have tested in mind. Make sure to test the deck before taking it to a tournament)
Pokemon:18 4 reshiram 4-2-4 typhlosion 2-0-2 kingdra Trainers:29 4 pokemon collector 4 sage's training 4 proffesor oak's new theory 4 pokemon communication 4 junk arm 4 rare candy 3 pokemon catcher 2 pluspower Energy:13 13 fire This deck should set up more consistanty than your old version, but still have the flexbility of an additional stage 2. A note of warning: Always set up 1-2 typhlosion before setting up a kindra, and only set up a kindra if you are playing gothiclus, or you have no more typhlosions(or cyndaquils/quilavas) in your deck. Good luck at your battle roads! |

^shouldnt he use atleast 1 sedra if playing vs gothitelle? since he cannot use rare candy.

Good point, I was really tired; I would then add a seadra and take out a junk arm or a pluspower, depending on your meta.

Yeah, if you are planning on running Kindra you should run either a 1-1-1 or 2-1-2 line.
As for Magnezone, don't worry too much about it. If you really want to run it then just get rid of the Beartic line. |

or you can take a different approach instead of using beartic you can use samurott the ability one a thin line at best something like 2-1-2. The great thing about samurott is that it helps a ton in the mirror one shotting opponents reshirams and typhlosions. The best part however is that his attack is colorless not requiring that specific water energy.
