HGSS-On: Attack Lock Deck (Scizor/Cobalion/Beartic)

Hey gang! With the Ice (Water) typing quickly emerging into the metagame, I thought a steel deck might be fun to try out.

POKEMON: (19)
Steel (14)
4-3 Scizor Prime
4 Skarmory
3 Cobalion (NV-Iron Breaker)

Water (5)
3-2 Beartic (Sheer Cold)

TRAINER/SUPPORT: (25)
4 Collector
4 Prof Elm’s Training Method
4 Catcher
3 Twins
3 PONT
3 Switch
3 Cheren
1 Eveolite

ENERGY: (16)
4 Metal (Special)
6 Metal
6 Water

The strategy is fairly straight forward: Lead with Skarmory to gather special Metal energy and use collector to start pumping up the bench. Use Cobalion/Beartic to lock the opponent out of attacking and sweep with scizor on pokemon with Special Energy.
At my league, whenever reshiram has been used it's been as punching bag to absorb damage until a benched pokemon is ready to go. If it is forced to attack, they usually have a double colorless fuel outrage. There's only been one person to run Reshi-boar/-phlosion at my league, so that would be the only super threat to this deck (curently for me at any rate)

Good point. The way I see it though, my opponent always runs vileplume (or at least every other deck out there does), so why waste my deck space with a card that will eventually be in play anyway? Whether it's on my side or the opponents, the effect is the same. And until that time I can abuse my own Trainers.

bump.

Any other suggestions? I'm aiming to trade a yanmega Prime for some scizor prime at my next league meet up, so I'd like to know if this deck would be worthwhile to build.
