Pokemon Reversal R/S

OK, maybe I'm an idiot (quiet SteveP), but I have seen this question posted at least twice without an answer, so I will ask it again....

Which Version of the Pokemon Reversal should we be ruling in favor of:

a) The Ruby/Sapphire Version which is a forced switch (off of a flip)
b) The Expedition Version which is a forced gust of wind (off of a flip)

This is a bone of contention at our gym, and there is mounting frustration.

Is the answer a, b, or both (play as written)

That should be in the Compendium EX.
There was quite a bit of discussion about those options at the rules meeting and it settled down to a: Play as the most recent printing, since the change was on purpose.
