buttifly is the main hitter because when it gets damged and its health hits 40 or less it can hit for an extra 40. the r/s buttifly is there to sit on the bench and take off all opposing resistance to grass or electric. if need be it can attack and heal your bech if they need a break. last but not least the manectric deal out craxy damage and the ex can pick off the benched pokemon that can cause you problems in their future forms
