Building an Empoleon DEX deck!
I love this card and the obvious strategy behind it. I haven't played TCG in awhile and have never gone to league more than 4 times or so. Deck building is obviously something i need to learn first and foremost! So here is my first attempt. I'm going to need some serious help though.
http://pokegym.net/gallery/displayim...?imageid=53068 Some obviously this card is from Dark Explorers, which btw has amazing artwork! So i'll use Dex for short when referring to that series. X3 Dex Piplup X3 Dex Prinplup X3 Dex Empoleon I'm not sure how many of each stage to have in a deck, but i've seen alot of 3-3. Lmk if that's bad. I know i'm gonna need some trainers and supporters, and stadiums. Maybe a few Juniper, N, collector? I have no idea what other Pokemon to add to this, so any suggestions would be great. I'm aiming to get a deck list finished asap to begin testing, so any help will be appreciated. If there is a general decklist that is perfect, please refer me to it.

I play 4-3-4 Empoleon, 3 Terrakion, and 2 Mew EX. Terrakion is a lightning counter and also hits Darkrai for weakness; Mew EX is like an "extra" Empoleon which also hits Mewtwo EX for weakness.

Edit: I've seen people on Playtcg using the new Dragon Exhalted EX Terrakion, i guess an power one would do right? He's there to counter Darkrai and and Electric types.

Mew EX isn't out in English yet, though should be in DRX (Dragons Exalted), the set that releases in a few weeks.
Terrakion is this one (or this one if you want it prettier). If you're building the deck for the current format, you can use Rainbow Energy to make paying for the attacks easier. If you're building it for BW-On (the next format), there are two cards called "Blend Energy" coming out. One is Blend Energy GRPD and the other is Blend Energy WFLM; the former provides ![]() ![]() ![]() while the latter provides ![]() ![]() ![]() and is what the deck would use.
