So…does this mean we get 150+ cards, or the UK is getting a different set?

UK set is exactly the same as the US set. We're probably getting 150+.

Yesss. I don't know why exactly I want a huge 150+ card set as much as I do, but I've wanted another one ever since Supreme Victors, and especially when we were getting sets like Unleashed and Undaunted that were 90 card mixes of leftovers from various sources. I guess it's just because there's a bigger variety of Pokemon and artwork and stuff in sets that big.

Any indication if these Ace Spec cards are going to be Secret Rares? If so expect to pay upwards to $100 each for these cards.

I don't think they're going to be secret rares or super rares (Full-art/EX level). I do think they're going to be holo rares

They are outside the normal numbering scheme. I don't know if that makes them EX-rare, FA-rare, or simply Holo-Rare.

138/149 seems normal. But, the rare star does appear to be white like the Ex's.

We know a few things.

1) The FA EXs start AT THE LATEST at 143, given that BKX isn't shown as a FA.

2) There are 4 Ace Specs in this set.

3) Crystal Edge is 138/149.

Even if Edge is the second Ace Spec in the set, that would mean that there could be NO MORE than 2 TSS between Edge and a FA in that numbering scheme.

It's very likely that there are more than 4-5 other TSS in this set than the Ace Specs.

Ergo, it's outside the normal numbering scheme. The regular TSSE will likely end at either 137 or 136.

That puts the Ace Spec cards into the "end-set" range of cards.

The question becomes thus. Will they be EX-rare, FA-rare, Shiny-rare, or something completely different?

I really really really like the pack arts for this set. The style of drawing mixed with the white pack is just beautiful. First of it's kind really.
I might actually have to buy a booster box of this, and just for the cover arts :P

Daelum, I agree 100% with you. It has a uniquely opalescent feel to it, and most of the booster pack artwork looks like Mazakasu Fukuda, one of my favorites.

But here's some other good news. We now know when the next set of Prereleases are going to be!

If the pattern holds, the Prereleases will be on October 27th and 28th and on November 3rd and 4th.

Mark your calendars! This is gonna be fun!

The TO in Florida already has her prereleases posted on her website and it says it will be the 27 and 28, the 3 and 4.

I'm hoping more for 60 pack boxes for no additional charge. This set is gonna be impossible to collect...

Not going to be that hard to collect the set. We have had bigger sets.

For somebody like me, it's gonna be impossible. I still haven't got my ND, DX, or DRX completed. And I open 3+ boxes of each of those sets. I RH'd my DRX set just out of my pulls, but I still need 14 between EX, FA, and Shiny cards to complete the set. If I get a case of the next set, I MIGHT be able to pull off the RH trick again. MIGHT. I definitely won't get all the EXs and Super Rares and stuff like that.
