Other Attractions for Parents in Columbus During Nationals

My family is planning on going to Columbus for Origins. My brother and I will be playing in Nationals, but my parents want something to do while we are playing. Without that, they said there would be no way we can go.

My question to all of you members - what other attractions are around in Columbus that are not at the convention center itself and are not gaming related?

Thanks so much!

My mom had a hard time finding stuff to do. What my mom did was just walk around downtown. There are alot of things to do downtown. You can see all of the beggers and what not. Also at the Family Dollar they had a bouncer which is kinda weird but I guess if they have to have it. One thing that they might want to go to is www.discoverohio.com and get a book of stuff to do and I think it comes with a video not sure.

Thanks for the help. We did get some fliers and such sent, so we will be going to Origins. However, I will be the only one playing because my brother doesn't want to pay for an Origins 2-day badge.

Thanks again!

hmmm, something for parents to do while their kids play at Nationals...

well, there is Origins!

Did you know that Origins includes a lot of games that your parents may like to play? Monopoly, Bridge, Cribbage, Spades, Poker...

Show your parents the Origins web site. Specifically, this page http://www.originsgames.com/index.pl...rd__card_games

If they just don't like to play at all Origins does run an outreach program for non-gamers, (no, I'm not kidding), http://www.originsgames.com/index.pl...family_program
