GS/SS Deck

Ok I normally never build a deck b4 a set is released but this is sick....

Pokemon 26
2x Oddish
1x Gloom
2x Bellossom
4x Anorith
3x Armaldo
4x Houndour
3x Houndoom
2x Pidgey
1x Pidgeoto
2x Pidgeot

3x Super scoop up ( Since No Brineys ROFL )
4x Candy
4x Celio * Early Game draw *
3x Wally
2x Copy Cat
2x Switch
1x Strength Charm
1x Crystal Shard

10x Fighting
4x DRE

Basic strategy is to COMPLETLY shut downy our opponent Houndoom says no trainers Armaldo says no supporters Dark Vileplume anyone? The bellosom is in there to heal arlmaldo since I cant have brineys...

Spoilers

Houndour - Fire - HP50
Basic

[R] Smog - The defending Pokemon is now Poisoned.

Weakness - Water
Resistance - none
Retreat - 1

Houndoom - Fire - HP70
Stage 1 : Evolves from Houndour

Poke Body - Lonely Heart
If you have fewer Pokemon in play than the opponent, the opponent can't play Trainer cards
(excluding Supporters) from their hand.

[C][C] Leering Bite - 20 damage. Flip a coin. If heads, the defending Pokemon is now Paralyzed.
[R][R][C] Flamethrower - 70 damage. Discard a Fire energy card attached to Houndoom.

Weakness - Water
Resistance - none
Retreat - 1

BTW, I love warcraft ^^

The deck:
What do you mean by no brineys? No set is getting knocked out of the format until after World's are over.. So, put Briney back in!

It looks pretty good, and it will work until you start winning. Who will be your main attacker?

My Main attacker is sadly Armaldo and the reason I say no briney is cause armaldo allows no supporters on both sides... ( Sorry to get off topic but do you play? If so what server? )

Hmm..... I like that Houndoom. Put in some Desert Ruins since your Opponent cant play counter stadioms with Houndoom out. Otherwise he's a little bit too weak to fight EX"S.

also I would remove the Bellossom since it slows down the deck and you don't wanna fill your bench NE way

It's supposed to completely shut them down. No trainers whatsoever.

Hmmmm.....Mt. Moon anyone? You can't rely too much on a Poke-Power these days especially the will-be era of the Gator.....

I'm guessing your thinking Mt. Moon would shut the Houndoom down, he has a poke-body, not power, so Mt. Moon wouldn't shut this deck down any.

Drop Bellossom.

Use the Tool that gives a Pokemon +20 HP and shuts off its powers and bodies.

Add in Supporters.

Then add Porygon2 - whose power lets you return a Tool from one of your Pokemon back to your hand.

i cant believe we all completely forgot about that >_>
and yes, drop the bellossom. it may be a nice 20 hp a turn, but its a stage 2, and you NEED draw power

reporters, stevens, bills, PORs, copycats, cozmos, rocket mission, anything lol

server:azeroth
i normally play custom games on roc/tft like dota, footies, etc. but i used to play ladder quite a bit, not too much anymore

This version is rather flawed, concept-wise. There is a much better way to run this deck, I believe.

Pokemon: 21
4 Cleffa
4 Anorith
3 Armaldo
3 Houndour
3 Houndoom
2 Porygon
2 Porygon 2

Trainers: 24
4 Steven's Advice
4 Celio's Network
3 Copycat
3 Power Root
4 Claw Fossil
4 Rare Candy
2 Briney's Compassion

Energy: 15
7 Fighting
4 Double Rainbow
3 Fire
1 Scramble

Here's the deal. Porgyon 2 has a power that lets you pick up Tools from the field and return them to your hand, and when you attach Power Root to Armaldo, his Supporter Restriction GETS SHUT DOWN. Therefore, during your opponent's turn, they can't play supporters. But, during your turn, you simply attach Power Root to Armaldo, stopping his Power, use your Supporter, and pick Power Root back into your hand with Porgyon 2. The combination only needs 3 Pokemon in play, so Houndoom can work more efficiently than with your combination, which is slower with your supporter restriction. Since my deck finds a way around this restriction, I can Briney, Celio, Copycat, and Steve until my heart is content. I do play 4 Rare Candy, which may seem odd, but you want Armaldo out T2, whenever possible. Since Houndoom stops ATM: Rock, Armaldo doesn't need to worry about being Candied from a 40 HP fossil. A T2 Armaldo basically shuts the opponent down completely. It would shut down you completely too, if not for Porgyon 2.

I'd add one or two Scramble because of Porygon2's Scramble Trip attack.
