Salt Blast [Fun Deck]
4* Krabby
3* Kingler 2* Rayquaza ex [DX] 4* Celio's Network 4* Wally's Training 4* Steven's Advice 3* Copycat 2* Pokemon Retriever 3* High Pressure System/Battle Frontier 4* Duel Ball 2* Strength Charm 3* Switch 2* Warp Point 8* Water Energy 6* Lightning 6* Fire Can be both RS-on and FRLG-on. Just need to change a few cards around. Made like a Primetool deck, but unlike Primetool it can't obtain "unlimited power" with only one family. That's why the Rex is in there. If your opponent can KO Kingler than you must place Rex, so there is a lot of "mind-reading" involved here. Getting a Krabby and Wally's first turn (you going second) is pretty common, even more common would be getting either one of the 2 types of search cards (celios and wallys). So when rating or fixing my deck, try to stay to the original theme. kkthx Bye ^_^ *Updated*

Was not the Western domain originally founded on Christianity? Why should we change for the sake of Capitalism, lets move Worlds! Example: There was a number1 player for the swiss rounds at NZ nationals, therefore the most likely to goto Worlds at the end of the day. Gaving up his number one spot to be in his Father's house on Sunday. Statically, PUI is lossing great talent by holding events on Sunday. Last edited by Professor Aspen; 04/24/2005 at 02:08 AM. |

I don't think I would change anything to the deck, but consider using Raichu RG instead of Kingler. Now that's less damage, but more focus on Rayquasa might make up for it. Also, lightning weakness is pretty scary right now.

Thanks for the suggestion, Raichu is a great idea. To bad the only one I had I traded... And it suits the deck as well, with the moving of the energies. Might try that on apprentice, but IRL, I have 4 Kingler... -_-

When you switch to Battle Frontier, you'll probably want some switches/briney so you can conserve energy. And speaking of energy, you could probably do with a few less. The most you'll ever need on Rayquaza is 10 for Wailord ex. And you've got plenty of energy searching power with Kingler, so 28 really is overkill. Here's how I'd do the energy:
8 Water 6 Lightning 6 Fire That frees up 8 slots, some of which can be used for Energy Recycle System/Electrode ex or something if you need to get them back. 4 Pokemon Retrievers seems a bit excessive also. Rayquaza can only get knocked out 3 times before the game is over, so you don't need more than 2. I've also got a deck with DX Rayquaza and Super Scoop Ups are a godsend in it. Your opponent pretty much has to OHKO Rayquaza to take him out. IMO, this deck has a good concept, but needs to slim down certain areas a bit. Last edited by Milotic IIDX; 04/23/2005 at 03:35 PM. |

Yes, your right. Thanks for the help. Another option would be TA Lanturn with a TA Manectric tech. Keeping the energy supply up. I, like you, was also thinking of Switches (and maybe WPs). Again, thanks for your help.
*Deck Updated* Any other problems/updates are more than welcomed.

With 8 slots, you have the space for reversals/pow which are good in any deck.

Maybe 4 Celio's Network is a bit too much.
