Deactivated List
Having not looked at for a few months, I saw the Deactivated League/TO page. Not being in the US or MX, Im just wondering why Nintendo would put up personal information publically for professors.
Is this just a public humiliation or 'name and shame' page? Just me and my 'satiable curiosity.

I'd GUESS it's done for several reasons, among them being: to prevent said players from attempting to participate in OP since others will be aware they're ineligible...and as a deterrant to others who may be considering 'working' the system in whatever way. Think of it as a 'yes, we're watching, and yes we DO take action when necessary' type of notice...

is it only PTOs and people like that that can see the banned players list? i'm just curious; as a normal player (soon to be prof) i'm just curious on how POP stops these banned players from playing in another tourney under a different name and POP ID.

I can see 'em, and I'm not any kind of TO or anything like that as it were.

The DCI lists public Suspended Player and Organizer list as well.
Pokemon Organized Play lists on Suspended TOs/LLs for the public, while Organizers have access to a suspended member list. Is this needed? Yes, because we need to prevent those individuals from entering/running an event/league and damaging the integrity of it.
