3 Shroomish(RS) 3 Breloom(1 SS, 2 DX) 2 Snorunt(DR) 2 Glalie(HL) 2 Chinchou (HL #56) 2 Lanturn(HL) 2 Drowzee (FRLG) 2 Dark Hypno Trainers[26] 4 Lanette's Net Search 4 Celio's Network 1 Pow! Hand Extension 3 Swoop! Teleporter 2 Surprise! Time Machine 2 Crystal Shard 3 Steven's Advice 2 Desert Ruins 2 Scott 2 Pokémon Reversal 2 Pokémon Retriever Energy[15] 4 Heal 4 Rainbow 4 Double Rainbow 1 Scramble 2 Fighting --- Problems? Well, there needs to be space to have strength charms, more draw power, more swoops and other machines... I don't really want to drop any more of the lines, 3/3 and 2/2s are consistent enough, and having someone prized is jsut crap. Having two of the necessary pokemon also helps speed and if one gets KOd, you have one right up again to fight. My metagame has pokemon that need to get beaten up by fighting, lightning, psychic, and some water/grass. Fire-weak isn't seen too much. Shard is in case they have resistance, or if they play a dragon. Trainers that could be swapped in and out: Admins Strength Charms Thinking about dropping a surprise, dropping 1 retriever, both reversals, for an extra swoop, and 3 charms. The trainer list can certainly be tweaked, and so can teh energy list a bit, perhaps dropping some heal energy in favor of something else, but heal energy is nice just to remove rainbow eneryg damage, and remove status conditions. Feel free to comment away.

(copying Johnny?) whatever. Yeah, add more strength charms, they're lifesavers.

One surprise is good though. Surprise removes status(as long as another one is in your deck) and you can surprise into different brelooms.
-2 STM -1 retriever -1 scott -1 pow -1 swoop +3 wally +3 charm And the name is obviously copied, but to think that making a stage 1 deck to hit opponent's for weakness.... that concept has been around since haymaker. edit: squeeze in a 1/1 cargo line? i dont want to run a normal 1/1 everything line... a 1/1 of everything is begging to get screwed over by luck. that, and if it gets KOd well enough, and you cant retrieve it back, you're screwed. i think i might just run 3 major types in my metagame, to add more consistency. ill have to think it over a bit.

Haymaker was all basics, though, wasn't it?

Some ran some evolutions, like wiggly, some variants ran things like haunter too, etc. but you cant use DRE/scramble on basics, so a modern haymaker (superfast with strong damage and early success) should have stage 1s. using exs just wont cut it either.

Use the RS Breloom, it totally owns the SS one. 70 for a Scramble is much better than 50 or whatever the damage that the Sandstorm one does. =/
You really need Cargo in this deck, too. |
